Meet the Team
Robert J Clanton, O.D.
Dr. Clanton is originally from Kansas and received his optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry. He has been in private practice in Arizona since 1994.
Dr. Clanton provides comprehensive eye examinations for adults and children as well as all types of contact lens fittings. He also has experience in pre and post-op cataract care, glaucoma management, diabetic eye care, and managing “red-eye” emergencies.
Dr. Clanton is very into golf, biking, running, hiking, physical fitness, and gardening. He is also a big sports fan, especially the Kansas Jayhawks, Yankees, Chiefs, Sundevils, Diamondbacks, Suns, and Cardinals.
Chau DO, O.D.
Dr. Do has 21 years of experience working at various modes of practice in the field of Optometry.
Since growing up in San Diego, the University of California at San Diego was the obvious choice for his undergraduate work. He got his degree in Optometry at The Ohio State College of Optometry and immediately worked at the Veteran’s Administration in Dayton, Ohio.
After the VA, he lived and worked on the Hopi reservation, in Northern Arizona, as Department Chief at the Hopi Healthcare Center. Since then, he owned and worked at several private, corporate, and mobile practices. Aside from practicing Optometry, he is a avid traveler, baker/cook, and plays tennis regularly on weekends.
What Dr. Do enjoys most is learning Spanish with his partner and traveling all over Spanish speaking countries and meet wonderful people of different cultures and background.
